Everest museum
Everest Museum in Darjeeling is positioned at the Lebong Cart Road on Jawahar Parbat, just 2 km north-east of the Chowrasta. Himalayan Mountaineering Institute 
The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Darjeeling is the oldest rock climbing establishment in the country and it conducts a various of mountaineering courses related to mountaineering every year.  Tenzing Norgay and one other legendary mountaineer Nawang Gombu, who was the first man to climb Everest twice, and Lattoo Dorjee Sherpa, have helped to build the reputation of this groundbreaking institute. The institute is at the moment under the purview of the Ministry of Defense, Government of India and its museum is worth a visit. Director of Himalayan Mountaineering Institute was Tenzing Norgay, who lived in Darjeeling, for so many years. The institute also conducts mountaineering courses. Rock climbing lessons can be taken at the Tenzing Norgay Rock, located on the northern suburbs of Darjeeling. Kanchenjunga Mountain
Kanchenjunga Mountain Ranges are in Nepal and have best morning scenic view from. This is the third highest peak in the world. The Height of Kanchenjunga Mountain is 8,586 meters. The mountains are regarded in Kirat religion of Sikkim, also very sacred in the local Limbu language; it is also known as Sewa Lungma. Kanchenjunga means "The Five Treasures of Snow" in the local language, which suitably matches it because of its assembly of five peaks, out of which four are over 8,450 meters high. Mt. Kanchenjunga can be viewed from many points of Darjeeling and also from Gangtok. Kanchenjunga Mountain is charm of the place and the amazing view of mountain range Darjeeling is something that will be store in your mind forever. If you want a spectacular view of the peak of Darjeeling Mountain, Tiger Hills is one of the best among all the places. The Batisia Garden (Gorkha War Memorial) of Darjeeling also has a grand backdrop of outstanding white peaks of the Kanchenjunga. Around Darjeeling town, the toy train ride also offer some breathtaking sights of Kanchenjunga. While you travel to Gangtok, opt for the Goeche La trek at high altitude at 4940m to have an amazingly clear view of Mountain Kanchenjunga.

Shrubbery Nightingale Park
Shrubbery Nightingale Park is very popular and beautiful Public Park in the city and is the private courtyard of Sir Thomas Tartan's Bungalow, it was earlier relaxing place for the British women back in the colonial days. In year 1934, after being destroyed in a devastating earthquake, it was rebuilt into a splendorous park that became renowned for its beauty all over the country. However, During 1950s and 60s Shrubbery Nightingale Park was a hot spot for Bollywood movies. With passing time after a couple of decades the park was neglected due to the growing tension in Darjeeling hills. Shrubbery Nightingale Park was again redeveloped in 2011 and opened for the public. The place has still held on to its charming beauty and with its redevelopment, resulted into enhancement of the park.

About Tiger Hill
Tiger hill in Darjeeling is the Highest Point and widely known for magnificent view of the Mount Everest and mountain Kanchenjunga.  Best sport to see the first shot of the sunlight at dawn shading between the twin peaks painting the snow clad mountain in pale orange. At an Attitude of about 2590 meters and 13 km away from Darjeeling, Tiger hill earned world fame for the breathtaking view of the sunrise over the “Kanchenjunga” and the heart touching eastern Himalayan Mountains. Every Morning many travelers during clear weather conditions trek up to Tiger hill to see Kangchendzonga Mountains. In 1856, the Survey of India confirmed the suspicion that actually Nepal region’s Sagarmatha, Name of the Mount Everest Given by the British. Difference in their height is a merely Just 0.25 Km. Kangchendzonga though, now relegated to being the third Highest peak, one can call the most romantic mountain. One can only understand on seeing it.

How to Reach Darjeeling
By Train - Plenty of trains connected to NJP (New Jal Pai Gudi) Railway station. Among these trains Rajdhani is special train with 12424/New Delhi - Dibrugarh Town Rajdhani Express taking 20 hrs to reach. Further is road journey of 3-4 hours from NJP to Darjeeling.
By Air - flights from Delhi / Kolkata / Mumbai to Bagdogra Airport (nearest airport to Darjeeling) and further is road journey of 3 hours.
By Road - Road journey is quite tedious and long. However, many public transport buses for Silliguri can be boarded and further connected buses to Darjeeling are available from Silliguri.
