Day 01: Arrive Varanasi
On arrival at Varanasi Airport / Railway Station, pick up and transfer assistance to Hotel in Varanasi. Check in at Hotel. Relax for while. Later proceed to explore city and tourist attractions of Varanasi. Visit – Kashi VishwaNath Temple (famous for 18th Century Gold Plated spire and holy well), Dashashwamedh Ghat (believed that Lord Brahma created it to welcome Lord Shiva), Manikarnika Ghat (believed that a dead human’s soul finds salvation, when cremated here) and later witness the most spectacular event of Varanasi i.e. Evening Aarti (prayer) at the Holy Ghats of River Ganges.
Day 02: Varanasi – Bodhgaya
Morning Breakfast and later check out the hotel in Varanasi and drive to Sarnath (Dhamek Stupa – a famous Buddhist site, Stupas originated as pre-Buddhist tumuli, in which ascetics were buried in a seated position, called chaitya), Chaukhandi Stupa (an important Buddhist stupa in Sarnath), Sarnath Museum (closed on Fridays , houses the findings and excavations at the archaeological site of Sarnath, museum has 6,832 sculptures and artifacts).
Later drive to Bodhgaya. On arrival, transfer to Hotel for night stay.
Day 03: Bodhgaya
Today is most sacred day at most sacred place of Buddhists. Today will visit Mahabodhi Temple and Mahabodhi Tree. Bodhgaya is land of Enlightenment and holistic place for Buddhists. Overnight stay at Hotel in Bodhgaya
Day 04: Excursion to Rajgir and Nalanda
Rajgir happens to hold great significance among the Buddhist followers and is a prime religious site as Buddha had spent 12 years of his life in this place. After lunch, you can visit the Bimbisara jail and the Gridhakuta Hill. Next, you will drive another 14km to reach Nalanda University which is the International Centre for Buddhist Studies and among the oldest universities that the world has seen. Drive back to Bodhgaya for Night stay.
Day 05: Bodhgaya Depart
Today morning breakfast and later timely transfer to Gaya Airport to board the flight for Onward journey.
